Compelling reasons to believe the words of Jesus in the 21st century in a relevant and culturally satisfying way.

Backed by decades of academic research, Culturally Apologetic is a project combining extensive knowledge of anthropology with rigorous philosophical inquiry, examining cultural norms in light of faith and reason.

Stephen founded Culturally Apologetic in 2018 to be a place where one could get culturally appropriate resources for reasons to believe the words of Jesus in the modern world.

Stephen has a B.S. in Bible and Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. An M.A. in Intercultural Studies, Christian Apologetics, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

He has lived internationally in Nagoya, Japan and has worked with international students for nearly a decade. He currently resides in Southern California where he enjoys sunny days, cold brew coffee, soccer, reading, and working out.
